Tuzhi (Shanghai) Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. originated from the Institute of Electronic Physics at Shanghai University. It has production and operation companies located in Jiading District, Shanghai. The Jiading campus of Shanghai University is a research base, and more than 80% of the company's research personnel are technical professionals. The company's main products include the MTC-3 microwave therapy device, which was developed by the Shanghai Institute of Electronic Physics, affiliated with Shanghai University of Science and Technology (formerly known as ShanghaiTech University). It is one of the earliest research institutions in China to apply microwave technology to medicine. Since 1984, it has achieved scientific and technological achievements through cooperation with medical schools such as Xinhua and Renji affiliated with Shanghai Second Medical University.
